Abstract

New seismogenic areal sources were delineated in the Caucasus based on regional seismotectonic conditions, active faults, observed seismicity patterns, and previously published seismogenic source models. The resulting areal source new zonation provides a framework for the estimation of source-specific recurrence characteristics and seismic hazard contributions.
